雨の水曜日。
It’s a rainy wednesday.
事務所で作業をしていると、近くのご婦人がやってきました。
「これ、庭で咲いてきれいだったから」
While I was working, a lady who lives nearby Tenjinyama stopped by.
And she gave us some beautiful flowers.
その花の名はダリア
The flower’s name is Dahlia.
すると、
たまたま事務所にいた長坂さんが、
たまたま花屋で働いていたことがあったので、生けてくれました。
By chance Nagasaka-san stopped by the office,
By chance she used to work as a flower arranger, lucky us!
雨の降る日に花が咲く。
During the rainy day, the flowers bloomed.

6月22日から7月16日まで天神山に滞在していた浅井真理子さん、
実は滞在中にこんなことをしていました。

剥製をじっくりと撮影。
ここは、札幌市内にある星置東小学校という小学校です。
この学校には、昨年天神山に滞在していた永田壮一郎さんが「おとどけアート」で活動をしていました。
今回、浅井さんの撮影について聞いてみたところ、快諾してくれました。
…took photographs of stuffed animals.
This is Hoshioki-Higashi primary school in Sapporo.
Soichiro Nagata (former resident of Tenjinyama) had also carried the activity “Artist in School” here last year.
The school welcomed the artist warmly to take the photographs once again.

なんと、今回天神山にハートネットTVの取材班がやってきたのです！！
Today the crew of Heart-net TV came to carry out an interview at Tenjinyama !!
取材を受けているのは、天神山アートスタジオの小林(手前)と今回の主役、都築さん(奥)。
都築さんは天神山周辺に住んでいて、天気のいい日によく遊びに来てくれるお客さんです。
彼女は詩を書いていて、天神山でも一度詩とピアノの演奏を発表してもらったこともあるのです。
Kobayashi(right), who works for Tenjinyama, and Tsuzuki(center) who is the focus of this TV program, were both interviewed.
Tsuzuki lives near Tenjinyama and she often comes here.
She has written poetry, and has also performed her poetry at Tenjinyama.
その都築さんの詩が、第21回NHKハート展」において
全国多数の応募の中から選ばれるという快挙。すごい！！
この様子は８月２２日(月)、２３日(火)の午後８時より
「NHKハート展」内で放送予定ですので、要チェック！
Her poem was selected out of many applicants for the21st NHK Heart Exhibition.
Amazing !!

来る8月4日(木)～8月7日(日)、
さっぽろ天神山アートスタジオ滞在中の納谷真大さん、藤本道さんが出する、
「そして誰もいなくなった」の公演が始まります。
公演を前に、演劇ファン・天神山ファンのみなさまを対象に、稽古場見学を行います。
日程は7月28日(木) 15:30～17:00
参加希望の方は、7月26日(火)までにご連絡ください。
数に限りがありますので、先着順とさせていただきます。

3連休の中日、オリバーと長坂さんと当別にあるSweden hillsを見学しました。
ミズホさんにご案内いただき、濃厚に充実した1日を過ごすことができました。
石狩太美駅から車でぐんぐん丘を登るとそこは、突如スウェーデン、ただし北海道。なぜに？？？
滞在をあと10日残した、オリバーの来日前からの悲願、スウェーデンヒルズとはなにかを確かめること。☝︎この写真は夢がかなっている瞬間を捉えた貴重な写真です。
スウェーデン村にある交流センターを管理する一般財団法人スウェーデン交流センターの高松さんから、この村の成り立ちなどを聞くオリバー。

お昼ご飯をゆっくりと楽しみ、ガラス工房、木工房を訪ねました。前出のスウェーデン交流センターのコーディネートで、毎年ガラス作家が招聘され滞在制作をしているとのこと。アーティストインレジデンスがここにもありました！！
その後も街区、モデルハウス、展望台などひとしきり堪能したあと、実際にお住まいになっているおたくの庭でお茶をいただきました。
庭越しのふたり。まるでティモテー♪ですね、こころなしかサラサラのブロンドヘアになったような気分です。すばらしくワイルドで美しい庭でした。ありがとうございます！
そして、この地域に工場のある某チョコレートメーカーの直売店でソフトクリーム、その後、北海道のスピリッツを紹介するため、石狩川の河口、ハマナス公園まで足を伸ばしました。石狩川の水に触れるところまで歩く。
さらに、海岸を走っているとミズホさんのお友達が漂着物をつかった展示をしているとことにでくわし、海まで。２時間の制作だったとのこと、楽しそうですね。
願いを叶えたオリバー、日本海の夕陽になにを思っているのでしょう。
スウェーデンヒルズからは、ミズホさんのお母さん（まるでアーティストのような無邪気さ、写真が得意）が車で先導くださいました。おふたりのおかげで、私たちだけでは近づけないなにかに触れることができました。たいへんお世話になりました。
アーティストのあてもないリサーチは、ひとこまひとこまの間にある会話の中に、アーティストのこれからの作品やプロジェクトのヒントやキーワードが見え隠れする「源流」なのでした。

天神山アートスタジオには卓球台があります。
大人から子供まで色々な方が卓球をしています。
We have a Ping-Pong table in Tenjinyama.
Everyone, from adults to children can enjoy playing it.
この日は、滞在アーティスト同士で。
Here, the artists are playing together.
丁度いい運動になっているようです。
It looks like good exercise.
また、周辺地域の方で腕に自信ありの方々もやってきます。
The Neighbours also came here to play.
上手。 It’s nice!

黒板に映えるプラチナブロンドは、ロンドンからのアーティストFreyja。出身はオランダです。自身をマルチメディアアーティストと呼ぶ彼女のWebサイトはこちら。http://www.thecopyriots.com
8月中旬まで約1ヶ月滞在の彼女、今月末に天神山で開催のこどもオープンスタジオにも「歯ブラシロボットを作ろうかと思うわ」と積極的です。
現在はロンドンでゲーム制作に携わっているとのこと。「人類が滅んでロボットだけになった世界が舞台よ」と話してくれました。

She plans to stay here until middle of August, while about a month. She wants to join actively into our event OPEN STUDIO FOR KIDS from end of July, by making Tooth brush robot!
Nowadays she takes part of game creation apparently. She told that it’s kind of science fiction. The stage is sat on the world after mankind wiped out. Only robots are there.

７月２１日まで、野田苑邸さんが滞在中です。
野田さんは心理学の領域で知覚(perception)を研究されてきたそうで、現在はそれを音楽へ応用する活動を行っているそうです。今回の札幌滞在では教育的な観点でのリサーチを行うとのこと。
また、昨今話題の人工知能に関するディープラーニングやニューラルネットワーク、「コンピューターで『直感』を再現する」システムなど、最先端の技術を滔々と話してくれました。
今月18日に開催のArt & Breakfast Day in 天神山では、アーティストトークも 行ってくれるそうです。タイトルはズバリ「最新美人論」。心理学者が美の規範を紐解きます。乞うご期待。
そんな野田さん、昨日は藻岩山へ登ってきたとか。初夏の札幌は好天が続きます。

Through his academic carrier, he has been focusing “Perception” in psychology field. Now he trying to apply it into the music. This time is for research from point of view of education.
And he also talked about state-of-the-art technology “Artificial Intelligence”, such as Deep Learning, Neural Network, and the computer system that can reproduce human intuition and so on.
In coming event Art & Breakfast Day in Tenjin, he is going to have an artist talk. The subject is “The newest theory of the beauty”. A psychologist reveals the standard of beauty. Check it out.
He just climbed up Mt. Moiwa Yesterday. It keeps fine in Sapporo during early summer.

７月９日まで札幌のアーティスト東方 悠平さんが天神山に滞在していました。
昨年も天神山で展示を行っていたこともあり、スタッフ、アーティストにとどまらず、地元の方からも馴染みの顔になっています。最近はよく遊びに来る高校生とも仲良くなり、「ユーヘイ」と呼ばれて慕われていた風景は、東方さんならではのものでした。高校生たちも滞在終了間際には「もうしばらく会えないから」と足繁く通ってくれました。
これから韓国での展示に向かう東方さん。しばしの別れも粋なショットで飾ってくれました。

An artist in sapporo Yuhei Higashikata had been staying here until 7/9.
So he also stayed here and exhibited works in last year, he was adored from everybody, staff, artists, even local people. Beside recently he got alone even with high school students who come to Tenjin usually. We all admired him a lot. They students came to Tenjin more many times until he left and said “Because we’re going to part him as soon”.
From now he will go to Korea for joining an outside sculpture exhibition. Even at last shot he reacted a cool pose like this.
“See you soon!”
