滞在者紹介
７月２１日まで、野田苑邸さんが滞在中です。
野田さんは心理学の領域で知覚(perception)を研究されてきたそうで、現在はそれを音楽へ応用する活動を行っているそうです。今回の札幌滞在では教育的な観点でのリサーチを行うとのこと。
また、昨今話題の人工知能に関するディープラーニングやニューラルネットワーク、「コンピューターで『直感』を再現する」システムなど、最先端の技術を滔々と話してくれました。
今月18日に開催のArt & Breakfast Day in 天神山では、アーティストトークも 行ってくれるそうです。タイトルはズバリ「最新美人論」。心理学者が美の規範を紐解きます。乞うご期待。
そんな野田さん、昨日は藻岩山へ登ってきたとか。初夏の札幌は好天が続きます。
Until July 21st, Endy Noda stays here.
Through his academic carrier, he has been focusing “Perception” in psychology field. Now he trying to apply it into the music. This time is for research from point of view of education.
And he also talked about state-of-the-art technology “Artificial Intelligence”, such as Deep Learning, Neural Network, and the computer system that can reproduce human intuition and so on.
In coming event Art & Breakfast Day in Tenjin, he is going to have an artist talk. The subject is “The newest theory of the beauty”. A psychologist reveals the standard of beauty. Check it out.
He just climbed up Mt. Moiwa Yesterday. It keeps fine in Sapporo during early summer.

滞在者紹介
７月９日まで札幌のアーティスト東方 悠平さんが天神山に滞在していました。
昨年も天神山で展示を行っていたこともあり、スタッフ、アーティストにとどまらず、地元の方からも馴染みの顔になっています。最近はよく遊びに来る高校生とも仲良くなり、「ユーヘイ」と呼ばれて慕われていた風景は、東方さんならではのものでした。高校生たちも滞在終了間際には「もうしばらく会えないから」と足繁く通ってくれました。
これから韓国での展示に向かう東方さん。しばしの別れも粋なショットで飾ってくれました。

An artist in sapporo Yuhei Higashikata had been staying here until 7/9.
So he also stayed here and exhibited works in last year, he was adored from everybody, staff, artists, even local people. Beside recently he got alone even with high school students who come to Tenjin usually. We all admired him a lot. They students came to Tenjin more many times until he left and said “Because we’re going to part him as soon”.
From now he will go to Korea for joining an outside sculpture exhibition. Even at last shot he reacted a cool pose like this.

大阪を拠点に活動するアーティスト長坂有希さんが滞在中です。ポートフォリオサイトはこちらです。http://www.akinagasaka.net/
今年の５月から１ヶ月間、ロンドン、ギリシャ、トルコを廻って収集したリサーチや素材がすでに溜まっているそうで、それを今回の滞在中にまとめ、物語の作品として形にするとのことです。
このライオンを追跡リサーチしたとのお話をちらと伺いました。７月末までの３週間にどのようなお話が生まれるのか、楽しみです。

While one month from last May, she was traveling around London, Greece, Turkey. She already did research and picked up lots of writing material at the time. She is going to turn them into a narrative piece during this visit.
Apparently, in research she was tracing this Lion Sculpture. We are looking forward what story will come out until she leave here in end of July.

先日、天神山に滞在していた稲崎さんから手紙が届きました。
The letter from Inazaki came to Tenjinyama.
せっかくの手紙、英語の勉強も兼ねて読み込んで見ましょう。
1、先日は大変お世話になりました。
Thank you for all your help recently.
2、皆さんの心配りに感謝して、本日野菜の苗を送らせていただきました。
Today, I have sent the seedlings in gratitude of your help.
3、ナスタチウム、パセリ、タイムとどれも食事のお供になります。
To season your meal there will be nasturtium, parsley, and thyme.
4、パセリは一株づつ離して植えて下さい。
The parsley needs space to grow so it should be planted one by one
短い間の天神山滞在でしたが、思い出に残る日々だったようです。
こういった反応は嬉しいですね。
Her stay at Tenjinyama was short but memorable!

こんにちは、クローバーです。
Hello I’m clover.
そしてこちらが、現在滞在中の役者さん藤本道さんです。
This is the actor Yu Fujimoto who is staying in Tenjinyama.
藤本さん、今日は稽古が休みということで朝から草むしりの手伝いをしてくれました。
He helped to clean up around the garden from morning as a volunteer, because today he had the day off.
地道な作業ですが、楽しんでいたようです。助かりますね！
This work looks unexciting, but he loved it. Thank you YU !!

「そして誰もいなくなった」は８月４日～７日、コンカリーニョで上演です。

さっぽろ天神山アートスタジオには小さな畑がございます。
We have a small garden in front of the Art studio.
そして、そこで実験として色々な物を植えているんですね。
And we’re planting various types of seeds as an experiment.
パクチーが植えてあったり。
色々試しているんです。
We have planted coriander and are trying an experiment.
これ、なんの苗だか分かりますか？
Do you know what this seedling is ?
見てわかる人、きっといませんね。
これは、ロシア料理の代表格「ボルシチ」を作るときに使う赤カブ。
英語でビーツと呼ぶらしいですが、ロシア語だとスビョークラ(Свёкла)です。
多分、9月～10月ぐらいに収穫できるんじゃないかと思います。
その際には、ロシアンパーティーですね。
This is Beetroot which is used in the famous Russian soup”Borscht”
Beetroots are called Свёкла in Russian.
We hope we can harvest them around September and October.
After the harvest, we’ll have a Russian party.
畑は地域ボランティアの方々のお力を借りて、
日々、こんな感じで進んでおります。
Our garden can only get better with the help of volunteers!

「丸太いるか？」でおなじみ、
週に2回の山籠もりはライフワークの藤本道(Fujimoto Yu)さんがやってきました。
Yu Fujimoto came from deep in the mountains.
Of course this is a joke; he is an actor and a member of Frano Group.
冗談はさておき、藤本道さんは富良野GROUP で役者さんで、
8月4日(木)～7日(日)にコンカリーニョで行われる、
アガサ・クリスティの名作「そして誰もいなくなった」に出演予定。

毎週末雨、というのは6月～7月の札幌の新定番なんでしょうか？
なんて思っていたら、今日6月3日(日)は晴れ。
Recently, it will rain at the end of every weekend.
But It’s good weather today.
ちょーっと、ですが事務所のレイアウトを変更。
Anyway, we decorated our office.
交流サロンも少し変更。
Atrium too.

ドイツはベルリンからこんにちは、とやってきたのはカーステン・オリバーさん。
主に、ペーパークラフトを行っている作家さんです。
Carsten Oliver came from Berlin, Germany.
He is working on figurative paper art sculptures that are inspired by methology and urban life.
サイトを見ると、結構ポップ。有名なあの会社のCMやっていたり。
こんなのも全部紙でできてるんですね。
These all works were made by paper.
こちらの映像では制作風景が見られます。
Here you can see how he’s working.
地道な作業ですね。
都市生活や、神話をモチーフに作品を制作している彼は、
7月末まで滞在予定です。
現在は、スケッチや絵を描いたりしているようです。
He’ll stay until end of July.
