Art&BreakfastDayin天神山イベント
毎月第３日曜日開催のArt & Breakfast Day（アート&ブレックファストデイ）、4月は17日に開催されました。
今回は、アジアリンクhttp://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/からの紹介アーティストとして滞在中のナタージュにアーティストトークを行ってもらいました。
あまり多くを語らないタイプのナタージュでしたが、札幌の虫の声なんかを調べたりしたいとのこと。
ナタージュ自身はビジュアルアーティストとしてアニメーションなども手がけていますが、作曲家のお兄さんとのコラボレーション作品も制作しているそうです。
質疑応答のコーナーでは、タスマニアから来ているナタージュへ「北海道の野生動物も凄いけど、タスマニアはもっとでしょう？」というような質問も。
今日は生憎の天候にも関わらず、20名ほどの参加者がありました。

On the third Sunday of every month we hold the event Art & Breakfast Day. On 4/17 we held it of April. Nadege who is introduced from Asialink http://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/ had an artist talk. It was not much long though, she just wants to research voices of insects in Sapporo apparently.
So she is a visual artist, she also making some animation video by herself or occasionally with her brother who is a composer.
In any questions she was asked like “Even though Hokkaido has so many wild animals, Tasmania animals are much greater than Hokkaido, aren’t they? “
It was raining and bit cold, but still about 20 participants came to the event.

福岡県から舞台役者の葉山太司さんが来ています。所属は飛ぶ劇場。http://www.tobugeki.com/
2回目の滞在となる葉山さん。今回は劇団イナダ組の「亀屋ミュージック劇場」に出演されるそうです。札幌公演はコンカリーニョにて5/18~5/22の5日間。公演情報詳細はこちらから http://inadagumi.sibai.jp/Next
葉山さんは到着初日の夜から稽古と飲み。役者さんはタフだ、と改めて感じさせられます。

From Fukuoka theatre actor Futoshi Hayama came to Tenjinyama Art Studio. He is belonging to this company: http://www.tobugeki.com/.
This is his second time in here and he is supposed to act another company’s programs in Sapporo. This program is going to come out from 5/18 to 5/22 while five days.

Even it was first day, from evening he went to practice and after party. He made me thought what actors are very tough like him usually.

日常滞在者紹介
先日、天神山アートスタジオに訪れたNadine(ナディーヌ)さんから頼みごとをされました。
1930年代に日本語で書かれた手紙を訳してもらいたい、とのこと。
彼女は日本語ペラペラなのですが、
さすがに30年代に筆記体で書かれた日本語は読めません。
それを、現代の日本語に直してもらいたいということです。
しかしながら、さすがに日本人でも昭和後期に生まれた僕には難しい・・・
ということで、お願いしたのが天神山ボランティアの川島さん。
今年７７歳を迎える、彼ならば読めるのでは！？
という期待と共に、お願いしてみたところ・・・
「んー、できるかどうかわからんけど、やってみるかい？」
と、快諾してくれました。
年の功とはさすが、順調に読み解いてゆきます。
分からないところも時々出てきますが、８０％～９０％読み解けました、素晴らしい！
こんな感じで、滞在アーティストのお願いをきっかけに、
ボランティアの協力を得たり、時に思いもしないような力を引き出したり、
しているんですね。

イギリスはオクスフォード大学から歴史博士のNadine(ナディーヌ)が訪れています。出身はベルギー。80年代に一度函館を訪れた事があるとのこと。
滞在は21日までと長くはありませんが、リサーチを目的に北海道大学のアイヌ研究者と会う事が決まっているそうです。
天神山アートスタジオはかつて、国際的な学術研究者向けの施設として「天神山国際ハウス」として運営されていました。ナディーヌのような研究者が訪れると、当時はどんなであったろうかと思いが馳せられます。

Nadine is a Doctor of history from Oxford University in England. She is originally from Belgium. Once she has been to Hakodate in 80’s apparently.
Her visiting schedule is not so long, until 4/21. And she already planned to meet with a researcher of Ainu in Hokkaido University.
Before Tenjinyama Art Studio was different place and was for foreign researchers and doctors. Nadine made me imagined how here was in those days.

日常滞在者紹介
本日はいい天気。
散歩に来られた方が、たくさんスタジオを訪れてくれました。
Today is good weather and many people visited Tenjinyama.
中でも、「すいませ～ん、卓球できますか？」
と、問い合わせがいくつもありました。
Some of them asked ” Can I play Ping-Pong”.
And They played with fun.
こちらは、地域の方から寄付していただいた台で、
新品ではありませんが楽しむには問題なし！
天神山に来た際には、ぜひ卓球もお楽しみください。
Table of Ping-Pong was given by neighborhood.
It’s not new, but no problem to play.

ヴァーチャルリアリティーのゲームを公開制作中。
Edwon(game programmer and Pro OTAKU) is showing his works of virtual reality.
どんなものかと、スタッフも試してみたところ・・・
We tried to play it ,then ,,
これ、伝わりませんが、確実に驚きます。
技術の進歩に驚きを隠せない瞬間です。
It was super impression, you can feel progress of civilization.
遊びに来た子ども達も体験。
Kids also experienced it.
最初はおっかなびっくりでしたが、
試してみたらみんな一瞬でハマっていました。
They really enjoyed it.

滞在者紹介
ごく短い滞在でしたが、舞踏家の石井則仁さんが天神山アートスタジオを訪れていました。
石井さん、漂う空気感から「舞踏(BUTOH)」が染み出していました。ヨーロッパを中心に活動する舞踏団「山海塾」でも活躍されているとのこと。今回は初の札幌だそうです。

ごく短い滞在でしたが、舞踏家の石井則仁さんが天神山アートスタジオを訪れていました。

ナタージュは天神山の国際ネットワーキング事業により、オーストラリアとアジアの交流を結ぶASIALINK（アジアリンク）http://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/ から派遣されたアーティストです。アジアリンクがオーストラリア国内で広くアーティストを募集、厳しく選考し、さらに天神ASとのマッチングを考慮した派遣となっています。
また、Shoogaというエレクトリックバンドのメンバーでもあるという彼女。その動画はこちら。

She is sent as a representative from an organization ASIALINK http://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/ that makes relationships between Asia and Australia, one of our international networking partners. After strict widely selection in Australia and judging for matching, ASIALINK sent her to Tenjinyama AS.

Until end of May she is going to stay here, and planning an exhibition in our residence in next month. But she got a mechanic trouble of PC as soon she came to here.

滞在者紹介
まだまだ肌寒い今日この頃ですが、常夏のカリフォルニアからエドワンがやってきました。約2週間、4月15日までの滞在です。実はスタッフtaigaの友人でもある彼は、この2年の間に度々札幌を訪れていました。
シアトル出身の彼は現在、ロスアンジェルスでゲーム開発の仕事をしつつ、フリーで映像もいろいろと作っています。昔から日本大好きな彼の中学時代のあだ名はなんと”ニンテンドー”。夢が叶って（？）2年前には京都の某ゲーム会社で働いていたことも。
「友達は俺の事”ガジェットフリーク”って言うけどね」というエドワン。そこから生まれた作品群はこちら。

It`s remaining little snow and still cold today. Edwon came from L.A. where is in such Tropical California. He is going to stay here about 10 days until 4/15. So he is a friend of a staff (me, taiga) actually, he has been coming to Sapporo few times while last two years.
He is originally from Seattle. Now he is making games as a freelance developer and also various videos in free. From his childhood he was much into (almost crazy) Japan, so he had been got a nick name “NINTENDO” in his Jr. high. Two years ago his dream came true, and he could’ve worked at a game company in Kyoto.
“One my friend says me “You’ve got Gadget Freak” he saying. These are works from such gadgets.

今回、今日ここに着くまでに、パスポートの期限切れてた事件や飛行機乗り遅れて音信不通事件(in上海)など、幾多の苦難を超えて来た彼。駅の改札にて再会のワンショット。
In this trip, he carried through a lot of suffering that expired pass port accident, to be late airplane accident and no contact in China accident. Finally he could get here. A shot of meeting again at station.
